Posh Nails Foot and Hand Spa celebrates a decade of pampering by throwing a big party for all their friends, family, sponsors, endorsers and franchisees.
We’ve seen our share of typical anniversary parties, and we thought this one wasn’t any different.
We were wrong!
What started out as a slow, ambient dinner quickly turned into a loud, heart-pounding, full on house party filled with music, laughter, dancing and not to mention, A LOT OF DRINKS!
By the time we were done with the coverage, it was clear that they were just getting started!
If there’s one thing we’ve learned that night, POSH NAILS knows how to PARTY!!!
It seems every few months or so, someone throws such an awesome party that it simply goes down in history as another one of those “kick*ss” moment in our short and, at times, mundane lives! And this time, that someone is THE Clothing, and that party is THE BLOCK PARTY 2012 !
THE Clothing have been pimping out the local underground scene in Manila for quite some time now and they really have become a household name among skaters, bikers, graffiti artists and such. And their fast growing fan base is, needless to say, drooling for an annual event to celebrate this lifestyle and community.
This is what THE BLOCK PARTY is all about. It is to put art, music and lifestyle in one place, for a day of pure, unadulterated, no holds-barred partying.
The event oozes of everything urban! A skateboarding competition, Graffiti art exhibitions and competitions, non-stop music which calls for non-stop dancing, you name it! It was simply a videographer’s wonderland! And we just kept shooting everything from start to end till our sensors cried mercy!
To our good friends at THE Clothing, Thank you very much for making this event happen for everybody to enjoy and meet new friends!

Fuguwi Collective doing an SDE for Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Videoke booth.
It was something we’ve never done before. A SDE during a LIVE concert! oh, did I forget to mention, it was a LADY GAGA concert!
So, the idea was to have three(3) videoke booths in the Arena where fans can come in and sing different Lady Gaga songs and actually record their performances in a video format. Sound like your typical videoke booth, right? But here’s the fun part!
SMART communications had this idea of taking all the video files of all the fans that sang/performed in the booth and compile them into a single music video and then later display that music video at the end of the concert, so fans can see themselves up on a big screen performing.
And that’s where we come in!
We are to take all these video files from the three booths, transfer them into our laptop and do an actual “SAME DAY EDIT” of the collected video files in real-time to produce a collective performance of all the fans. Oh and by the way, everything has to done BEFORE the concert ends!
Yes, Needless to say, I was scared sh*tless !!! So much can go wrong doing an SDE! Do we have enough time to actually pull this off? Will we have enough footage? Are the video files from the booth even editable?! Like I said, it was something we’ve never done before!
It was another unforgettable experience for Fuguwi Collective. The crowd cheering, going crazy in the background, the sound of Lady Gaga’s voice telling the fans it’s her last song! The massive amount of video files pouring in form the booths! It was SDE on steroids!
But, with the power of the great Gaga on my side, we actually did it! At 15 mins from the end of the concert, rendering was 100%! All is well that ends well !
And from the words of JFK, I end our blog.
“We do things not because they are easy, but because they are HARD!”
